Fall 2022 Fashion Forecast
Summer is officially over and while some of us are moping around in our annual pout while holding on to our tan lines for dear life, the rest of us are rejoicing with arms wide open - ready to welcome in nipping air, cozy blankets, roaring fires and of course - indulging in Fall fashion. While we drive straight ahead into Fall, we’re taking our most beloved pieces with us. In all likelihood you’ve been wearing some of these key pieces all year round which is great news because this Fall fashion season is all about highlighting classic staples that are already hanging in our closet.
When we heard the simple white tank top is being considered a hero piece for the FW22 lineup, we were elated. Luxe brands like Bottega and Prada featured the humble white tank top on their season premier catwalks. And since layering clothes during the cooler months is the norm, you can plan on pairing your white tank with the Katharine Double Breasted Blazer or keep it monochrome and wear an open Donna Button-Down as a shacket. Say it with us, “it's okay to wear white after labor day”. In fact, when done right, it’s one of the most polished looks you can achieve this season. And since we mentioned blazers, expect to get way more use out of yours this Autumn and Winter. It’s the perfect piece because of its clean, straightforward edges and has a magical ability to elevate practically any outfit. A tailored blazer always pulls the look together without overcomplicating it.
